Since February 1, 2022, the new DIN standard 13164:2022 has been in effect for first aid kits according to the StVZO. To what extent this affects motorcyclists, you can find out here...
According to § 35h StVZO, a first aid kit is only mandatory in buses. Therefore, motorbikes and two-wheelers are generally exempt from this first aid kit requirement. Quads, however, are an exception. Regulations for motorcycle first aid kits. As a two-wheeler rider, you don’t have to worry about fines if you don’t carry a first aid kit. You are also not affected by the updated DIN standard.
Nevertheless, it is advisable to carry a first aid kit for emergencies. First aid kits for motorcycles are standardized according to DIN 13167. These kits include:
