If you're planning a motorcycle tour with a group or solo, it's always a good idea to plan for emergencies. It's especially frustrating when a screw gets stuck in your tire or another defect causes a loss of pressure. There are several methods to quickly continue your journey after a brief stop. Emergency tire repair assistance is essential.
Tire Repair Spray
The liquid is pumped into the tire through the valve and seals the hole due to contact with oxygen. The pressure from the can is also used to slightly inflate the tire. It doesn't matter whether the tire has a tube or not.
Small Tire Repair Kit
The repair kit consists of several components. First, remove the object from the tire and clean the hole with the provided tool. Then, the rubber plug is inserted into the hole along with the adhesive. Any excess is trimmed off using the included knife.
Large Tire Repair Kit
The process is similar to using the tire repair spray, but the sealing compound pumped into the tire is more powerful and can withstand speeds up to 80 km/h. The kit includes a small 12V compressor to ensure the correct tire pressure. The kit can also be used for car or caravan tires. The only downside compared to other systems is the larger space requirement. Once used, new sealing compound can be reordered.
For both the tire repair spray and small tire repair kit, it is recommended to visit the nearest gas station to fully inflate the tire. In all cases, a visit to the workshop is necessary to replace the tire if there is significant damage.
